I’m Paul, a former theater worker. My interest in cinema was awakened shortly after I started that job in the summer of 2014, inspiring me to create this blog. Originally, I wrote reviews casually as a way to strike up conversations with friends and co-workers, but as this hobby has become more fulfilling over time, I’ve taken it more seriously. While I still have a lot to learn about film, I specialized in literary criticism in my university days, so I’m confident in my own opinions. I hope you enjoy reading them.

In case you were curious, this blog’s title and header image are derived from Mobile Suit Gundam, a Japanese TV and film franchise that has probably been the most influential piece of visual media in my life. Don’t expect any references to Gundam in any of my reviews, though.
